Nightly build mscore.64bits-2015-02-16-09-36-b25ac8a.tar.bz2 unusable (although 5 hours old)

• Feb 16, 2015 - 13:48

After downloading mscore.64bits-2015-02-16-09-36-b25ac8a.tar.bz2 from http://prereleases.musescore.org/linux/nightly/ I tried to unpack the tar.bz2 file, but this fails:
---------------------------------------------snip---------------------------------
gtar jxvf mscore.64bits-2015-02-16-09-36-b25ac8a.tar.bz2
mscore

bzip2: Compressed file ends unexpectedly;
perhaps it is corrupted? *Possible* reason follows.
bzip2: Inappropriate ioctl for device
Input file = (stdin), output file = (stdout)

It is possible that the compressed file(s) have become corrupted.
You can use the -tvv option to test integrity of such files.

You can use the `bzip2recover' program to attempt to recover
data from undamaged sections of corrupted files.

gtar: Unexpected EOF in archive
gtar: Unexpected EOF in archive
gtar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now
-------------------------------- snap ----------------------------------------------------------
It seems that mscore.64bits-2015-02-16-09-36-b25ac8a.tar.bz2 hasn't been complete uploaded (and that after 5 hours!!!)

Comments

It seems that there is something basically wrong with the upload strategy of a new nightly build: After getting some RSS feed news (availabiltiy of some new new nightly build), each time after having downloaded the announced nightly build after about 1h, it can't be unpackaded (see above) .

I posted this fact already in august of past year :-(
