Scarlatti in MuseScore 2.0 - looking good

• Feb 28, 2015 - 19:32

MS 2.0 has just about cracked it. I know it's mainly for creating good-looking scores but even playback is getting pretty mature. Only one fault in display on the attached score - the minim at the tempo setting needed enlarged and is a little below-the-line. And the trills don't play back yet (but with so many variants on trills this is understandable). Overall, very impressive indeed and roll-on 2.0 final release.

I can see that now that you point it out.
Have you brought it up in the feature request forum? (ha, just checked your profile and see that you are a very active contributor!)

That piece is invigorating to listen to!

I love Scarlatti so I'm anxious to look at the score and follow playback.

BTW, until trills are activated like tremolos (which is not perfect but it's something), I use another voice to draw out the trill notes, including the transitional turns, then hide them. The only downside that hidden graphics still have space allotted to them so it messes up the layout. But at least you get the sound you expect.
