Nonexistent Stems
About halfway thru the song I am working on, my stems just all of a sudden dissapeared for all my voices. I don't know how to get them back, as I checked to make sure that they were not accidentally checked "stemless." Ocassionally, a random note will have a stem in the second half, but it says that that note has all the same properties as the others. Advice?

On second check, the problem is suprisingly only in eighth, sixteenth, and any other notes that have bars atop. Eighth notes without bars are fine.

I wonder if you have encountered a bug with beaming. Try selecting the affected notes and un-beaming everything (select all with [Ctrl]a and then click on the No Beam icon in the Beaming palette). If that gives you your stems back then re-beam them in small batches until order is restored..

Thanks! This worked well, and for what it didn't fix (the last 25ish measures), I just deleted them, then undid the delete and all the stems came back.
