Note entry behavior

Situation: use the mouse to click on a rest or note. Then, use keyboard to start inputting, say, quarter notes by typing in (CDEFG)

Current behavior: First key pressed moves into Note Entry mode and inputs that note (C), but cursor shows up before that inputted note. Then second note is entered, overwriting the first note. Output: (DEFG)

Expected behavior: (CDEFG) - i.e., cursor shows up after the inputted note as soon as Note Entry mode is triggered by (C)
