Export piano roll to svg or vector data

Hello all - very new to musescore so it may be the wrong application for my needs, but Google has not offered up any other options.

I'm doing some visualisations in after effects in a sort of 'Singstar' style where the piano roll of the lead instrument scrolls across the screen and we see if the player hits the notes or not. I found this plugin (https://musescore.org/node/13081) but I'm told it will no longer work with musescore.

Do any of you know a way to turn a score or midi file into an editable piano roll in any vector format? Or failing that any image file?
