New Plugin: Tuning Hertz Cents
This plugin is able to create particular tunings applicable to the entire score or to individual notes.
Alter the intonation in cents for each note selected, both through the use of the classic 'Blue Rectangle', and with individual selections.
I remember you that the half tone is divided into 100 cents, so it is possible to alter the intonation in a 'thin' way with smaller size of the half tone, or remaining within the 'equal temperament' with changes (also of individual notes) in tones and half tons (e.g., 1200 cents represent the deviation of an octave).
The first line of the plugin contains only information on the individual notes: setting the name of the note and its octave of belonging, we can see its frequency in Hertz and the pitch as it is coded in Musecore. The frequency is calculated according to the setting of the 'diapason' in the next line, i.e. the standard frequency attributed to the La4 (or La3 in other musical systems: the convention used by Musescore was adopted here).
In addition to changing the frequency of the La4, in the next line we have a text box that contains the difference in cents in the case of the 'diapason' not set at 440 Hz. This box, in case of particular needs, can be set manually, and it is the value contained in it that used to alter the notes present in the score.
The button at the bottom applies the changes to the notes selected in the score; By setting 'CENTS' to zero, it works as a reset button.
Finally, the button at the bottom right ('Calc') with a text box alongside, allows you to calculate the cents between the frequency inserted in the text box and the frequency present in the field 'Freq. (Hz)'.
Available in the dedicated section, version for 3.6.2 and for all versions 4.
Those who have enough imagination can guess uses of this plugin other than the creation (more or less presumed) of ancient tuning or particular musical scales.
