Cannot install musescore 2.0.1
When I tried to install musescore 2.0.1, I get "An internal error occurred" message and hence the installation fails
What shall I do to overcome this problem ?

At which moment exactly do you see the error message? We added some troubleshooting in the handbook https://musescore.org/en/handbook/installation-0 Maybe it will help?

The illustrations in the handbook are OK. The failure occurs at the last but one illustration:
Installing Musescore 2.
Please wait while the Setup Wizard installs musescore 2.
Status: Copying new file
Then the message "An internal error occurred" appears

Unfortunately we don't have a straight solution for you. As a workaround, please download and try this version of MuseScore: https://musescore.org/en/download/musescore-portable.exe
