As far as I know, none of the developer has a computer with a touchscreen. I know that we made some improvements to support zoom with touch screen in MuseScore 2.0.1. So you might want to check it if you have a compatible computer.
Tablets (android and iOS) are a completely other ball game. And no, the MuseScore editor is not available for these OSes.

Owned ipad(ios), dell venue pro(win 8), won't help too much in CREATING.
all or any the above tablet devices only PLAYBACK purpose.
Creating, Input music, PC / Mac with QWERTY, Midi Keyboard, enough,
maybe WACOM digitizer is not bad idea.
Most effective way, Pencil & Paper still the BEST, also need a very quiet place.
