Move from ver. 0.9.5 tp 0.9.6?

Like some opinions. I've been using Musescore for about 3-4 months now and I like it. Right now I'm using an Ubuntu based Distro that I like but its at 9.04 and isn't likely to get to Lucid any time soon so if I'm going to get to 0.9.6 then whatever I do will not be easy. A few things that bug me with 0.9.5 are as follows. I'm wondering if any of these are improved or corrected in 0.9.6 and if its worth my time and efforts to install it.
1. Can't always end the app without forcing it down.
2. Copy/Paste just doesn't work with chord symbols, ties, slurs, and most anything but the notes.
3. Break 4 plugin replacement for variable measues??? ie. (break ever 6 measures)
4. Chord entry in a score. Won't stay on the part I start on but jumps to the top part.

There are others but these improved would be good enough for me to attempt something to get to it without destroying my Ubuntu distro.

Thanks,

See New features in MuseScore 0.9.6

  1. MuseScore 0.9.6 is more stable so it should be better
  2. Tie,slurs and chordnames are now copy paste
  3. Break 4 plugin has been replace by break every X measure
  4. I'm not sure what you mean with that.

As I said before Ubuntu Jaunty is not a long term support release, and Canonical will stop sending out security updates in december 2010, 18 months after the release. In the meantime, you should consider a upgrade.

Sounds like I need to get to 0.9.6. I have a distro that is based on Jaunty, not the standard Ubuntu issue. It's not upgradeable the Ubuntu Way. I know that support expires. I have some options without upgrading until the distro gets upgraded so I will investigate those, such as compiling qt and musescore.
Thanks
