can i have the letter of the note down the bottom of the note?
hello I have just got musescore and I'm just having a bit of trouble working it.
I still have a bit of trouble recognizing what note it is when I look at a sheet of music, so I'm just wondering if there is a way that when you insert a note it comes up with the letter of the note under it.
if you could do that, it would be great but I just don't know?

You can easily get the name of the notes above each note. Go to Plugins > Plugins Manager > Check "Note names" to activate the Note names plugin. Go to Plugins again and you should see a new Note names plugin. Apply it to any score to add note names on top of each note.
