Dal niente
Is it possible to create a "crescendo/descrescendo dal niente" symbol? I mean this symbol:

I think it would be great for contemporary music.

You could use a crescendo and the circle of the Z palette as a workaround.

Yes, when i was working with Finale, I did that. It's ok when you need only one, but, if you are working with a orchestral score with divisi...it's very uncomfortable (imagine 6 violins I, 6 violins II, 4 violas, 4 cellos and 2 doublebasses....each one with that symbol; if you need to put the circle by hand on each one...). So, I think it's better to create a specific symbol (it's very usual in contemporary music).
