xml format wrong error parsing

hi,

i can't figure out from the error message why the xml isn't good.
Can't you supply more accurate error messages?
file 1: i get an error message in line 1
file 2: has exactly the same text in line 1 but it works.
how come?
BTW - one get an error for UTF written in small letters i.e. utf... i would expect a greater tolerance...
