Failure to start without -s modifier - MS 2.0.2 - Windows 7/Midi keyboard not recognised
Having the same problems starting up as some other people unless it is run with the -s modifier. Running normally gives this as the details on the crash screen.

Running -s opens it, but I haven't been able to get a USB Midi interface to work in order to get note entry via an Ion Key49. Would the -s modifier kill this?
Any more info needed to work out what is going on?
Edit: -w, -d and -t do not seem to work, having earphones plugged in doesn't help.

-s starts MuseScore without the sound system, including MIDI in. So you will not be able to play or to enter notes with MIDI keyboard.
Could you give more details about your configuration? Which version of windows are you running? Do you have an external soundcard, any special audio device? Any ASIO driver installed? Any other audio software?

It's running Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64 bit. Also installed are Foobar 2000 and the drivers for a Project DAC Box RS via USB. I have played around with putting dsd capability into Foobar if that makes a difference.
Having checked, Musescore starts when attached to the DAC via a USB cable but the Midi keyboard is still not able to play.
