inputting a chord

• Jan 1, 2016 - 13:14

With the previous version of Musescore I used to be able to enter a note on the manuscript and the press shift and 4 to enter a note a 4th below that first note.
If I wanted to enter a note say a 5th ABOVE that first note I pressed Alt and 5.

It would appear that now on version 2.0.2 only Alt and a number work. Is it no longer possible to enter a not BELOW the original note.

Click on menu item: Edit -> Preferences, then in the Shortcuts tab you can define your own keystroke combination for those missing intervals. Look through the shortcuts to make sure you do not create a shortcut keystroke combination that is already assigned -- unless, of course, you clear it first.
Be advised that presently the Shift key is used for selecting note durations in Tablature, so if you don't use Tablature you can reassign those shortcut(s).
Regards.
