clef/barline

Hello,
I'm writing a piece for piano, using a style where I set empty bars to invisible--two issues I'm encountering:

1) I lose the clef when a bar at the beginning of the line is set invisible.
2) I lose necessary barlines, both in the bass clef and treble clef.

I'll attach an image that illustrates both situations in a passage of 4/4 time. Is there a way to accomplish these two things?
