import mid file

When i want to import a mid-file downloaded from the internet it works, but when i want to import a mid-file made by our musicchef, it won't work. I just tried to shorten the name (less than 8digit).
The program makes a runtime error. (no number)
"this applicationhas requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information."
Can you help to solve this problem?
