MuseScore History

So I'm fairly new to MuseScore, and the more I learn the more I am intrigued. The more I learn about MuseScore-and not just the software and how to use it to write music, but about the ideas and ideals behind its inception (that anyone should have the ability and means to create beautiful music), and the concepts captured in this website: that anyone can ask and get an answer about nearly anything, any problem, that new ideas can be brought forth to improve MuseScore by anyone who has an idea, that anyone can be involved in testing the new ideas and reporting their findings, that great music from your everyday average people can be shared around the world and can be improved and edited and perfected through multiple people's input, that the way music is being written is evolving to a new level through MuseScore-the more I learn, the more I want to rant and rave at how amazing this program is! As if I needed more reasons to rant and rave, I would love to learn more about MuseScore and its beginnings, how it came to be, the kind of work and effort that has made it great, and what all is planned for the future of this great tool. Whatever you may know, I would love to hear all about it!
