Glissando

I'm trying to enter a glissando on a vocal/piano score (in the piano part) from Bb2 (dotted half note followed by a rest) in the bass clef to Bb6 (half rest, quarter rest, followed by quarter note) in the treble clef.

For the life of me, I can't make it work. I've tried dragging from the palate, deleting the notes and re-entering. This should be simple, but I just can't make it work. I've searched the forums and tip pages.

I'm using 0.9.6.2, Revision 3400 on a Dell Inspiron 1470 with Windows 7

Try dragging it from the palette and dropping it on the first note of the glissando. You'll know you're on the note because it will turn red. Let go, and it should automatically draw the glissando from that note to the next one.
