I am unfamiliar with how people here collaborate on developments, but - it seems, if we could get a few people together, who know programming, how MuseScore is put together, etc, then we might be able to make some traction...
The three features I proposed in the linked post (above) - especially overdubbing - really would make for a very sweet recording setup...
