Weird scaling problems after updating to MuseScore 4.2

I started a score in MuseScore 4.0. Updating to 4.1 didn't cause any problems. But now I just updated to 4.2 and opened the score, and suddenly there were enormous spaces between some of the staves and some very big notes or ties. I suppose, they were the reason behind the spaces. A screenshot is added below. Please help, I am worried because I was working on this score for a long time and I really don't want to restart from scratch!
