Square slur?
I am trying to work with an assignment in music analysis. I need to analyse motif and want to add a square slur to the score. Can I do that in musescore? I attached an example.

There could be other ways to accomplish this. I would do the following:
Select the notes that should be covered by the bracket and insert a pedal line with straight hooks from the Lines palette. Flip it above the staff by pressing
X. Go to the Properties panel and adjust the Hook height so it is not a negative value. You can now save this customized bracket to a custom palette for later use.Insert the text as normal Staff text attached to a note, and drag it to the appropriate position above the bracket.
