corrected autosave function - is it available in version 0.9.5
I am new to musescore, but am thrilled of it's good functionality. As I would not afford a commercial product, I am very happy that I can do everything with musescore.
My only problem: the crashes and the autosave function.
As I already read here on the forum, there were bugs with autosave, that were corrected.
But this is the case for newer versions (builds like 2300 or so...)
As, on the other hand, we are recommended to use the "stable version" 0.9.5, it seems that it has no suche corrected autosave version (it does not save, if we don*'t save at least once manually, it autosaves OVER the existing file, instead separately, etc.).
as I also read, builds like 0.9.6 are not compatible with 0.9.5, and I would like to keep using my old files, built with 0.9.5.
Could some of you give me a hint, what to do best, or if there is a build version of 0.9.5 that has the autosave function perfected?
Thank you!

You should be able to open 0.9.5 files with the first release candidate of 0.9.6. You should also get less crashes.
you can download the prerelease at http://prereleases.musescore.org
If you encounter any crash, please let us know.

thank you for your prompt and friendly support.
I will install the 096 RC1 version and come back with feedback or questions, if it will be the case.
