Howto add notes with "Finger Snap"
I just tried to enter some notes in a staff for "Finger Snap". It did not work. Is someone able to help? Which note height/note name is afforded?

Same problem with tambourine and hand-clap. I did not try more single line percussion instruments...
Sorry, I forgot: Win XP SP3, Version 0.9.5
Hello MuseScore community,
This is my first comment here, so let me say--I just started using 1.0 for Mac, and I love it! Light years ahead of where it was a couple of years ago. I'm so impressed with it, and it's a pleasure to use so far.
I'm having trouble entering notes with the instrument "Hand Clap"--I'm in Note Entry mode, but no note will appear. I don't know if this is a verified bug already or not, but I thought I'd add on here, since I didn't see any other comments in this thread.
Best!

hi - is it possible to use the drum notation with a regular voice? (not using a percussion voice?)
I'm arranging a 4-part song and at one point, i'd like the 3 other voices to clap on the beat while another sings. it's not a separate percussion track, it's the singers themselves who clap.
When I put in a rest and click the drums pallete, nothing shows up.. i guessed that it only appears when you're using a percussion voice.

If it's for notation purpose only you can change the notehead of the note by selecting the note in the score and double click the relevant notehead in the palette.

This may not help, but if you double click the note head, the side menu comes up. If you go to the "Note" section, select "Head group" and change the note to "cross". The sound will still remain the same but it will be marked as a clap.
