Change "Save As" Logic?
In all of the software I frequently use the"Save As" option (to save in a different format to the source file) works a little differently to Musescore. Once I select the desired format from a drop-down list the filename extension changes to the selected one and I just need to click "Save" to save the file in that format. In Musescore when I select the desired format from the drop-down list the filename extension doesn't change. I have to erase it manually before I hit "Save" otherwise I get a message telling me the file already exists.
Not a biggie obviously but a little frustrating at times - or is it that most of my other software is "non-standard" in this respect?

What operating system are you using? I would guess Windows XP, because I *think* it's only a problem on that operating system. On other OS's it changes the extension for you.

Sorry, I should have mentioned OS etc. You're right I'm using XP (and MS v1.0)

This is a problem with Qt on Windows XP, and not MuseScore. Again, it only affects Windows XP, and the problem will have to be fixed by Qt.

I was going to report this problem as well as it is most annoying! It creates the possibility of
accidentally overwriting your Musescore file with a PDF file.
Has a bug report been submitted to the Qt development project?
Thanks,
