No sound today
I'm using OS 10.10.4 and MuseScore 2.0.2. For the first time today I'm not getting sound from playback or note entry. I used MuseScore last night and playback and note entry both sounded as usual.
The Mac volume is as loud as it will go and other programs are getting sound. No changes have been made to either the computer or MuseScore.
Please help.

Quick guess: Check the mixer - do you have any instrument channels set to solo or mute?
I would take a look at revert to settings if rebooting and checking mixer don't work. \

Note: Reverting to "factory settings" removes any changes you have made to the preferences, palettes, or window settings.

You didn't install MuseScore in Applications? Or you renamed the "MuseScore 2" package to something else?
In View > Synthesizer, do you see a soundfont listed?

It's in applications as MuseScore 3. If I rename to MuseScore 2 would that work?

Yes. Probably. In any case, you shouldn't rename an app package.

OK, will do. I didn't change the name, the app downloaded that way because I had an existing MuseScore 2 in my downloads folder. I didn't think it made a difference, now I know it does.
I'll let you know if the reset helps the sound issue.

The mixer doesn't have any muted channels. I'll probably have to revert to factory settings.
