Fingering Text Size
I'm not sure if this is a bug or me simply not understanding.
However, I have created my score and am now going through it to enter fingerings (for guitar) from the palette. After a few bars I decided that I wanted the fingering text smaller so I right-clicked on one and selected All Similar Elements. Then I right-clicked again and selected Text Properties and changed the text size to what I preferred. This changed the size of all the fingerings I'd entered up to that point.
I then went to Style/Edit Text Style/Fingering and changed the size there believing that would mean that fingering text would be created at my preferred size for all my subsequent fingering entry. However it is still being created at the default size rather than the size I specified. I've tried closing and re-opening Musescore but Fingering Text is still being created at the default size.
What should I be doing?

Keep on creating your fingering and then right click on one of them, change the size and check the "apply to all similar elements"

Yes, that's what I've done. I guess the question really should be "why does changing the size in Style/Edit Text Style/Fingering have no effect?"
I should also have mentioned that I'm using 1.0 under XP Home SP3

Because, as you may know, text style are buggy in MuseScore 1.0. Mainly because there is no way to know if a text should be styled via the style or via its own properties. In the current development version, text styles are improved.
OK Thanks.

Try this:
Make your changes, then save the file. Then, from the File menu, select "Reload" and you may see your changes in effect.
This works for several things, but I haven't tried it for fingerings. Good luck.
Sorry, didn't work for me. Thanks anyway, Bill
