Instrument change
I have some Musescore sheets for Bb Clarinet. I like to use these sheets for Alt Sax.
With the mouse I go to an empty place in the staff. Then right mouse- Staff properties- Part properties- Change Instrument. I choose Altsax and the score and the notes are changed as it has to be. The problem is that the chords do'nt change and I have to correct the chords by hand.
Is there a better solution.

The good news is the bug you mention is known and there is a pending fix - see #62341: Chord symbols don't transpose when changing instrument/transposition in staff properties.
Meanwhile, the workaround is to simply switch to concert pitch mode before doing the instrument change, then switch back - all works fine in that case. Or, instead of using Staff Properties / Change Instrument, use Notes / Transpose to do the transposition. That's how I usually do it, FWIW.
