How to publish your work on youtube playing the music and showing the dynamically changing score as on this site.
I wrote a piece and would like to create a video to publish on youtube. On this site one can upload one's music and have it displayed and played... but how an make a avi file showing the same sound and moving score?

Thanks! ;)

After you uploaded your work on Musescore there is a button on the right side of the web page "Make a video score". After that you need the youtube link. Then the videoscore is uploaded to youtube automatically. Handy, isn't it?

We are developing a service to make this possible, i.e. converting your scores into a video and uploading it to youtube, but it is not ready yet. One possible score video format can be seen at https://www.youtube.com/musescoresheetmusicvideos You can expect it some time in 2016.

I was going to try to upload to muscore and capture screen with cropping to make a video using vlc or camtasia or something. I notice that musescore has a class in the execution of the mcz file.

Oh, I thought that was already possible, but hadn't tried it yet. But it will be handy some day...

I've worked around it by combining a .wav of the track (downloaded from my upload to MuseScore) with a video of my upload to MuseScore which I created with Debut.
It took a while to work out, as Debut was recording all the noises in the room - then when I set it to record only the audio from the speakers, it didn't record any audio at all. So I combined the silent video with the .wav file using Movie Maker.
