Drum notation crash cicled x
Hi, new to this software, using vs 1.1 on win7. Want to use circled x as crash cymbal can't seem to make this happen ... anyone know how to do it?

Create a score with a drumset 5 lines, right click on the staff -> Edit drumset. Look for the Crash1, select it and change the notehead to xcircle with the combo on the right. Press OK.
Press N, select the crash 1 instrument in the drumset palette (even if it's not a xcircle), click in the score.

You may have to save your work and then restart MuseScore before the change shows in the Drum Palette.
That is what I'm finding anyway.

there is a "reload" function under "File". It will prompt for a save.

Reload hasn't worked for me.
The drum palette has not refreshed.
I have always had to restart MuseScore to be guaranteed that it refreshes.
That's on 1.1 XP SP3 btw
