Triplets for lute tab
I would like to add the triplet sign to a lute tab I am using the early music notation. It is possible with the modern lute notation but I don't succeed with the early music one. TRIPLETS .mscz

Hello Gilbert,
Happy to see here, and to have a new member for the lute notation. Welcome into MuseScore :)
First of all: which result do you want to achieve? An image would be useful.
Take a look to your file (repaired, some corruption from somewhere): TRIPLETS a.mscz
1) In the second staff (original choice of settings), I simply add a "3" as regular staff text (bold, italics, eg). It's only a workaround. Then, drag and drop this "3" in a palette (assuming you have already a customized workspace) for reuse later.
2) In the third staff, I changed a setting. Ie: right-click on the staff -> Staff Properties -> -> Advanced style properties -> Note values -> Tick button "Stems and beams" instead of "Note symbols" (image below)
Of course, the style "Tab French" font is lost. But you have a triplet in a "modern notation".
Does one of these two results is close to what you expect?

Hello
Thank you. The first solution is the best for me, as the publisher asks for an early music notation.
But, is it not possible to use the triplet sign from the modern notation into the early music notation ?
Why do I get the message Muse Score : load error and File corrupted when I open the score ?
When I tap on 'ignore' I get the score.
Thanks in advance8

How do I custumize a palette ?

Hi Gilbert, to make custom palettes, see the handbook at https://musescore.org/en/handbook/custom-palettes
As it looks like you are becoming a power user, you may consider purchasing the best guide available: Mastering MuseScore

To my knowledge, no. And nothing automatic in any case. Perhaps there is a feature request about it, I can not remember at the moment. By the way, a former police (French tab) with a modern triplet, or said in another way, mix early music notation and modern notation, is a little anachronistic in my mind, right?
However, perhaps there is another workaround that I have not thought until now. I'm not sure at all, but if I find something, I come to you.
"Why do I get the message Muse Score : load error and File corrupted when I open the score ?When I tap on 'ignore' I get the score."
Indeed. I think you had to make a handling error somewhere by typing triplets. If you remember how to get this result, please report it.
As you can see on the repaired file, I could not reproduce this result, after removing the faulty measure, and its re-entry.

Of course, there is always the solution (workaround) of the insertion of an image (screenshot mode) onto the score.
Ie this image (you may save and reuse for you)
The advantage: resizable, and reusable indefinitely.
So, see the result below (I think it's you expect). And the "new" file done in this way: TRIPLETS c.mscz

That's indeed the solution. Thank you very much !
