Is there a way to have a metronome sound on an exported file?

Thank you.

Only way is to add a percussion staff and enter notes for each beat. Depending on your use case, you might want to practice with MuseScore itself or with one of the mobile apps for Android or iOS. All of them have a built it metronome.

I had this problem too and used this advice to solve the problem. For the sake of anyone else who has this problem and may stumble on this post, I recommend trying the wood blocks and alternating the pitch for each beat (just enter a bar or two worth of beats then copy/paste). Then use the mixer to turn the volume on it down to the desired level.

I just had this problem. If you can't practice with MuseScore itself, there is a simple solution. If you happen to have Audacity or any software that can record computer playback, you can just play it with metronome on MuseScore and record it to MP3 or WAV, then you can play it wherever you need.
