Better Bass Drum Sound
Hello. A lot of the music I write on Musescore is for Orchestras, and I would like to use the bass drum alot more in my music. However, the bass drum sound is not so good, and in addition to that, I can barely hear the bass drum alone at all when my computer is at full volume. I would like it if the bass drum sound was improved and made louder in the future.

??? There are dozens of soundfonts out there that would come up in a basic Google search. Did you try the ones specifically mentioned in that Handbook article - particularly Fluid R3?

I know, I'm just mad because my dumb computer has trouble opening soundfont files.

Why would need your computer to "open" a soundfont file? You don't need to open them. Just install them and tell MuseScore to use them, exactly as directed in the Handbook. Don't try to do anything else with the file other than what is described, because most likely, you don't have a program on your computer than can "open" soundfont files. But nor would you need one, because there is nothing else you would be able to do with a soundfont anyhow.

Weird, my computer says something about opening them. I'll just install them like you say.
