Rest between connected notes
One feature I have noticed in a lot of music pieces is that they will have a rest in between connected notes. For example, in a triplet, if there are only notes on the first and third beat of the triplet, the two notes will still be connected with the rest in between them. I would very much like to be able to do this on MuseScore as well. ~ Kevin

This is already possible. Select the rest and double click the right beam symbol from the beam palette.

Thanks for your help. I was able to add a semi-quaver rest after a quaver note and before another semi-quaver note. However, I cannot add a quaver rest in between 2 quaver notes. Do you happen to know why?

sometimes you need to select each note and the right symbol in the beam palette, and it works ....
