change stave type in an existing score
I would like to add a 4 bar piano introduction to several pages of already created single line (single staff) melody, and keep the single staff for this melody as is after the first four bars of piano staves. I've already added 4 empty bars in front of the melody, but don't see how to change just those 4 bars to piano staves. What is the way to do this?

1. Add the Piano as a separate Instrument
2. Write out your intro
3. Use 'Hide empty staves' (under Style > General… > Score)

Add a staff to the existing instrument, put in the notes, hide empty staves
