Using the mouse to add notes to chords
Hi -
The handbook says, "During note entry, MuseScore automatically advances in the score. If you want to add a chord note to your previous entry, hold down Shift and enter a note name: C D Shift+F Shift+A E F
How can I add notes to my chords using the mouse to enter notes? I think in terms of the lines and spaces on the staff, and using the keyboard to enter notes is very painful for me to do.
Thanks,

Just click a staff line or space on an existing chord while in note entry mode and it automatically adds a note to the chord.

Thanks, Marc.
I would have thought that would overwrite the note I already had in that position, but it does just what I want.
I'm helping Wena with some hymns and since my usual fife music doesn't have chords, it's new to me.
Sorry for the late response. I don't usually get much chance for this except on the weekends.
