Guitar tab and tie
I'm trying out the guitar tab feature in the nightly builds (version df3b4a2). As I understand it, two notes tied together should appear only once in the tab. Currently it appears as a tie just as in the standard notation. Correct me if I'm wrong. Otherwise please fix. Thanks in advance.

Yes ! Normally, in the tab, the ties shouldn't appear. I've seen the problem too yesterday
It may depend on the type (common, simple, full)? Which one was used?
zzjing, for future discussions about upcoming versions, could you post in the Technology Preview section :)?

I'm using Common. You are right, the note appears only once in Simple, but still with the tie symbol. But it probably should behave the same way regardless of type.
Sorry if I posted in the wrong section. I wasn't sure where this should go. Thanks for the tip.

I've check the different modes.
1 - Simple
2 - Common
3 - Full
Finally, in simple mode, the slur shouldn't be seen. The should look like the following :
This can be actually be achieve by removing the slurs only on the tab staff. Then the second notes of the ties appear. To make then invisible, select the note, then right click/Debugger. On the opening windows, check the box Visible.
Then go to the View menu to uncheck the option Show Visible

I don't understand why there's two Simple modes (maybe because you said "Finally"?) - are you demonstrating the current and expected behaviours?

I see now why the tie is there in common and full types. Simple still has it but it looks it can be fixed manually; It would be nice if this is not necessary.
Also, it would be nice if there is some kind of simple, optional indicator of rhythm at the bottom of the simple type (see attached picture). I am writing some finger-picking accompaniment in two voices, and the common type looks way too busy, and the simple type is too simple, with no indication of rhythm.
