Non-visible ties, when copied, do not remain non-visible in the duplicate

• Jun 1, 2020 - 20:31

MS 3.4.2, Windows 10
In the attached score, note that the tie in the upper staff is marked not visible.
Select the first two measures and press "R". (or copy/paste to later in the score)
Expected result-
In the duplicated measures, the tie remains not visible.
Actual results-
In the duplicated measures, the tie becomes visible.

I have not noted any other items that have this behavior. All items, if invisible when copied, are also invisible in the duplication.

Thanks,

The original score has some places where there are two different simultaneous time signatures in different instruments. This created a corruption message when the score is opened. The workaround was to not actually implement a different local time signature, but instead to add a non-functional glyph that duplicates the time signature. A dotted half note should completely fill the measure in the desired time signature (3-4) but doesnt in the actual time signature (9-8). Since the dotted half note doesnt fill the 9-8 time signature, an invisible tie to invisible notes is used so that the note will sound for the entire measure.
