8th note and 16th note Connected?

I don't see what I need in that link.
First enter the 1/8th notes in voice 1. Then go back and enter the 1/16ths in voice 2.

Difficult to see what is going on from that little scrap. Try reading the manual again and then my post and try again. It does work. If you still have problems attach the score.

Well I am trying to arrange "La Campanella". I found this one on the web and it has what im looking for. The notes in the last measure is what im trying to get.

So like I said you need to have the 1/8ths on voice 1 and the 1/16ths in voice 2.
When I say attach the score I mean the .mscz file not a picture. I can see what you are trying to achieve and the manual and my post tells you what you need to do to achieve it. What I can't see is what you doing that is off track.
