No sound with MDL with version 3.4 on Mac Catalina
I just installed MuseScore 3.4 on my Mac with Catalina (latest version). With MDL I am not able to hear the sounds of the drumline notes. On the right hand side of the window I see the properties for the MDL and under sound it show Standard not MDL snare. I'm not able to change this to MDL snareline. After loading the battery template for MDL I can see the note selection, but can only hear the snare hit nothing else for the snareline. With the other instruments the sounds are not playing or they are messed up. This is only happening on the mac with Catalina not my MacBook Pro with High Siera.

Pending a better answer, have you tried https://musescore.org/en/handbook/revert-factory-settings ?
And / or uninstall and reinstall MDL?

Thank you so much. I uninstalled and reinstalled the MDL and now it all works. Thank you for the easy fix.
