Fed up with Sibelius (AVID), want to convert to MU
AVID decided a while ago to cancel my 'lifetime' license for Sibelius and suggest I 'cross-grade' to a more current version. I had some exchange with them to no avail. I can now open my Sibelius scores but I cannot save or export to any other format without purchasing what I don't want… :-|
So please, is there anyone out there who can help me export some of my Sibelius scores to MusicXML… so I can continue in Musescore, which looks promising to me (certainly after the unbelievable experience of fighting Sibelius' user interface). My most treasured scores would be like 20 or 30 in number…
Pretty please

Seems like in this case, it might be worth it to buy Sibelius for month, do what you need, then blow it off.

Thank you for your response, your solution would have been a way to go – however, as you saw, I was saved by the Dolet plugin :-).

Yes! Thank you! I'm saved :-). The batch processing (converting a folder of sib-files) would have been really nice – however it did not work, and didn't produce any message at all, just sat there doing nothing after selecting the input folder. Anyhow, I'm a happy man today :-).
