How do I create separate time signatures with different instruments?
In my score, I have multiple measures of 16th note nonuplets with piano in 4/4 time, while the staff above (synth) needs to be in 3/4 time. How do I make this work without having the score "fake" 3/4 time on the top staff? Simply changing the time signature breaks the nonuplets. Any way I can fix this?

If you want the bar lines to line up as in your pictures, use a local time signature, if you don't want them to line up then see the how to

Upon further inspection in the music, I looking at a way to have the nonuplets in 3/4 time. Thankfully the math worked out. I have the full score here: https://musescore.com/user/1245641/scores/6411687
