Switch to the advanced workspace or assign a shortcut to double and triple dots in Edit->Preferences in the shortcuts tab.

I need the double, triple and quadriple dot note back on to the note bar.

The double, triple and quadruple dots are in the advanced workspace. There is a dropdown on the right above the score that gives you the option of Basic, advanced and any user defined workspaces.
