Hmm, there is definitely much to love about 3.6, but there is still no fix for that particular issue. Assuming you mean #32696: Section break causes pause before repeats and jumps during playback. There have been a few attempts to look at what would be involved, but nothing has happened yet.

I just did a playback, and the issue seems to be fixed.

It's still there; I know because I'm working on fixing that currently :-)
