keyboard shortcut for adding courtesy accidentals
Is there a shortcut for adding a courtesy accidental?
The up/down arrows and J specifically do not show the accidental if the same note has been sharped or flatted in the same measure and clicking on the menu bar to add the accidental is cumbersome.
I'd like to be able to press a key to add a sharp/flat/natural as I advance through the notes using the arrow keys. It would speed things up dramatically.
I'm using version 3.6.2.

You can set shortcuts for accidentals. That should be good for courtesy accidentals too

Thank you for the reply.
I searched google and the handbook and I can't for the life of me figure out how to define a new shortcut.

Thank you, again for your help, and sorry to be such a dolt about this.
If I type flat, sharp, or accidental, I get nothing on the list. There appears to be no add accidental command although there are buttons in the accidentals palette labeled sharp, flat and natural.
If there is no command then I can't define the shortcut. Correct?
