Audio failure/white noise
The latest version of Musescore has been causing problems with my laptop's audio. Every time I open the program, all sound coming out of the speakers turns to white noise. This includes the sound coming from programs other than Musescore, even once I have closed Musescore. The white noise persists until I shut down the lapop and restart it. This problem started about when Musescore last updated to 3.6.2, I believe (I have been using the program for years previously without any problems). I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Musescore, updating it, reverting to factory settings, and even using bluetooth instead of regular speakers, none of which have fixed the problem. Any guidance would be appreciated.
Thank you!

What OS (operating system)?
Have you tried Edit -> Preferences... and on the I/O tab clicked the 'Restart Audio and MIDI Devices'?

I have Windows 10. Yes, I've tried restarting audio and Midi devices, as well as everything else on the "How to restore sound" page

Have you tried To update your audio drivers. There's a couple ways to do that. How old and what make of computer do you have?
Try uninstall your Realtek driver (which I presume you have one, cuz everyone who I've seen having similar problem use Realtek, including myself.), then restart your computer.
Hej!
I had exactly the same problem. I solved in this way: you must check "realtek app" in your laptop and set it 44100HZ bits. Probably you have setting at 24000HZ bits and it crashs with Muse Score...
