how to format repeated chorus with the last measures different last time
I have a tune that starts with the chorus and has 2 verses and after the second verse repeats the first 12 measures of the common chorus but the last 5 measures are different. I did the chorus and verses with repeats but had to retype in the same 12 measures and the new final 5 measures. Is there a way to indicate to the playback to do the 2 chorus measures and on the third time to only do a portion (the first 12 measures) and then have a different 5 measure ending without physically repeating the first 12 measures after the repeat along with the 5 measure ending?

This sound like something you'd use either Voltas for, or a D.C. al Coda.

Thank you. I used repeats and D.S. al Coda.

Thank you. I used repeats and D.S. al Coda.
I was able to, with the help of jeetee and DanielR, use repeats for the chorus and 2 verses and then D.S. al Coda to get the first part of the chorus and then jump to the final measures. thank you
