Is there a way to pluck bowed strings?

Using staccatos and staccatissimos are short bowed sounds, not plucked sounds. I tried to used plucked strings, but nothing sounded close enough to a violin to use it and feel it was right.

I haven't been able to find a sound file for this online. Adding a percussion line to plucked violin strings would come closest, I believe.
