Is there a way that I can have the Musescore software mark each of the black notes?

Is there a way that I can have the Musescore software mark each of the black notes? I usually just make it manually with a pen, but I'm wondering if there's something I can do in the software so that I don't have to spend so much time doing it. Thanks!

Aren't all notes black? In other words, when you print a score, all the notes use black ink, yes?
So... why do you want to mark all the notes, and with what kind of mark?

Maybe you mean black notes on a piano as opposed to white? If so, you can change the properties of notes from the inspector panel, e.g. note colour.

Ah yes, black keys on the piano keyboard...

OK... suppose you have a song with a key signature with lots of flats:

If you want to see which of the notes are played flat (i.e., using black keys on a piano) change the key signature to one without any accidentals (e.g., pick the C major key signature):

A flat accidental will "mark each of the black notes", as shown in the image above.

a) I like the concept of the plugin!

b) If I run the plugin on an A major scale it correctly colors all Fs, Cs and Gs. But I question the name choice of "colorHalfSteps". The task it accomplishes is "ColorSharpOrFlatNotes". Am I missing some logic in the existing name?

c) I tested it on a double sharp and it missed, so the name "ColorAccidentaledNotes" would not presently be appropriate.

d) nice if there was a choice of color

e) I thought the plugin wasn't loading, but later noticed it in the Plugins>Notes: Color Notes and Note Names. I wonder why that hierarchic menu in my configuration?
