staff missing after adding measures
When I inserted new measures in a part of the score where there are only rests, one of my two staves became invisible. It did not happen when both staves had actual notes in them. I could not see exactly what was wrong; did I miss some invisible marks, or is this a bug? It is kind of annoying because I'm writing out/modifying parts for the brass in a pop song which has a large number of empty measures.
Many thanks in advance,
Philip

Please attach the MuseScore .mscz file. It's difficult to check/verify any relevant internal program parameters from a picture.

sorry, here it is.

PS: when I switch to multimeasure rests, the missing stave is shown again correctly. So it is there, just not shown (which makes it difficult tot enter notes).

Right click the staves -> Select "Staff properties" Set "Hide when empty" to "Auto". Also update MuseScore to the latest version. Your score was last saved in 3.5.2, whereas 3.6.2 has been out for quite a long time now.

Ah, that is what I needed, many thanks! (I set it to 'Never', but I now know how/where to configure this). And I will upgrade, too. Many thanks again,
Philip
