I can't playback

I'm unable to use playback in any way, shape or form. The I/O tab doesn't allow me to select any audio driver, and resetting MIDI and Audio is useless, no change.

I've reset to factory settings several times too, but nothing changes. I have a 2017 MacBook Pro with with macOS 12.4 (Monterey).

You haven't completed all the steps - #9 in particular asks for some very specific information. So be sure to try each of those steps again, being sure you didn't miss anything else along the way as well. And when you get to #9, be sure to complete it fully. Note this isn't the last step, there are others listed afterwards as well, and I encourage you to try those too before completing #9.
